What opinions can give me of the "G DATA Antivirus 2008"?
Answer:I do not recommend this program. I became familiar as a (former) AOL user. It is the anti-virus program provided in a limited form with AOL, at least in Europe. I was not dissatisfied with it then. I was pleased that it was constantly updated automatically. A few months ago I purchased Data InternetSecurity 2008, with a triple license for my laptop and 2 PCs, a Pentium IV and a new Quad, both built by myself. On the most frequently-used PC I had constant problems. The program would not retain settings and was awkward to administer. I tried repeatedly to set various applications as trusted and was constantly experiencing blockages and internet disruption. G Data was constantly evaluating my router as a threat. If I used the internet-filter function I was usually unable to access sites with either Internet Explorer or Firefox. The list of annoyances is extensive. I experienced frequent connection disruption, and thought there was something wrong with the connection itself from the provider.
