I have a 96 bonnieville and recently ive noticed the security light on the dashboard comes on when i turn the key to start the car.Sometimes it starts,sometimes it doesnt. When it doesnt the sercurity light stays on and its solid. It will stay on for about 5 minutes then go off,then i wait a few sec later and the car turns on. Sometimes the sercurity light blinks and it wont stop. i dont know whats causing this but i need help resolving this problem, please help.

Sounds like you need a new security module. I believe on that car it is located on the ignition key cylinder. Take it to a dealership and I believe they could fix it pretty quick. Probably have the part in stock.
