1.I have located: Vista Antivirus 2008 in my computer, however, I cannot delete it. I found it first in control panel, tried add or remove, where deleting was NOT possible because there was no such an option “delete” I searched again and also located in recycle bin, there was an option to delete, when clicked got a message says “Cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk” Please help!! 1) open task manager and end these processes, if found
Antvrs.exe
VistaAntivirus2008.exe
2)locate on the hard disk, at the location c:\ program files\ vista antivirus 2008
delete the entire folder if found
3) download / install and run a free program called ccleaner. Run the cleaner and registry menus in it
that's all

I believe that is a rouge Antivirus program.
Fake anitiviruses that give false readings and spam your computer so that you can download more software.
My computer has one aslo. Only because some dumbass who didn't know what he was doing downloaded it.
