I replaced my cell phone a new one (sam model - Nokia 5300) and it is asking for a password - I never entered one in before. I have tried 0000, 0123,01234,1234,12345, and the last 4 of my phone number. I have copied my files to my computer and have formated it through my old phone, but when the card is the new one and I try to access it still asks for a password… Thank you in advance for any help and direction.
Jeff - I have not had that problem, but I did have to have it replaced (warranty) after 11 mo. - signal issues. I have known 5 others with nokia 5300 and they have all started having problems around the year mark. One friend suggested that I call Tmoblie and talk to contracts about getting it replaced or threten to cancel. They will change it out. All I had to pay was $10 shipping. Hopefully it last a year (contract up)….. Great music phone but only good phone for a little while.
