i checked the properties of that cd, it is 732 mb. the antivirus scanned it in 1 second, no virus is found. the antivirus is updated today.
the cd is of vedic mathematics.
i want the answer for the question "is the cd really scanned?.

See how much data was actually scanned. If you have a really fast CPU and disk drive, its possible, although it is more likely an error.
