Okay, so I’ll try to make myself clear. I have a new wireless connection, and when I go to connect to my network, my security key is already in there and I can see like the little dots representing the characters of my password. But there are only like 6 dots and my security key is much longer. So I tried erasing the dots and typing in my long security key and sure enough that worked, but then when I logged off and tried to go back on and went to connect to my network, the password/security key shows only 6 dots again. Is that some kind of feature that is also a bit of security? Like so that people can’t tell how many digits/letters your code is? Shouldn’t there be the same number of dots as there are numbers/letters in my security key?
*****Thanks for your answers!

You are correct in assuming the actual number of characters is masked due to security purposes. Just leave it as it is.
