Getting Above message. Using AVG.Can I download AVAST keeping AVG. Cant uninstall or run AVG.

      I would try a uninstall in safe mode before anything gets a chance to start.

      Hit f8 key while your system is rebooting.

      If this does not work install Spybot 1.6
      and using the advanced tools option get into the start-up entries and delete the start-up entries for AVG
