I'm in the IT department at work and thats what we use. You can get a free version if you want to test it out first. Also I think Spy Bot is a really good one. That usually finds more then Ad Aware does.

I've had nothing but trouble from Adaware. Use spybot search and destroy and windows Defender… they are FREE.
http://safer-networking.org for Spybot and http://www.microsoft.com/defender for Defender

well it's quite good for a free security program…but if you have the cash i'd recommend going with norton.

i like it
i use it in combination with spybot
doesn't conflict with anything i have.
nortin sucks
i also use avira for antivirus
i did use comodo for firewall but its annoying and even if the windows firewall lets stuff through avira, ad aware, and spybot find it
i also use ccleaner to clean crap out of my computer which is what the first c stands for. yup, crapcleaner
