Advanced System Care just won't uninstall from my PC. Can you help?????

This programme (Advanced System Care), has gone crazy, but I can't get rid of it. I have tried using two different standalone uninstall programmes, but when they get halfway through the uninstall procedure, it freezes, and a message appears, saying: "Initialising components - please wait." It stays like this for ever, so I have to restart my PC, which is running on Windows XP Home addition.
I believe there is another way to uninstall a stubborn programme, but I don't know how to do it. Can you PLEASE help?

Go to Start…Programs..Advanced Windows Care….and run the un-install program.
