About… 3 months ago, I was having a problem with odd noises, sounds, beeping, playing through my speakers.
I asked for help on here, and I was told it was adware, and I was advised on how to get rid of the adware.
I did what was suggested, which was to clean my registry with CCleaner, then scan with SUPERantispyware, Spybot: Search and Destroy, and BitDefender. I did all this, and the problem went away.
Just yesterday, the noises returned, so I began following the same method as before.
The only issue is, it’s not working at all.
I’ve cleaned my registry, scanned for spyware, adware, viruses, etc, and the noise still plays constantly, and has done so for the last 10 or so hours.
The only things that showed up on the scan was a generic trojan, which were consequently deleted.
Still, the noises are playing.
Any help guys? It’s driving me nuts.
Thanks in advance.
After an instance with a computer illterate father, my sound software was deleted. I installed Realtek, and it seemed to work fine.

check your speakers or the sound cards installed by going to device manager.

I would re-attach your speaker cables (clean with contact cleaner) and then load the latest driver(s) for your sound card. If that doesn’t fix it, odds are you have a bad sound card. The device manager may or may not recognize a glitch like that if the card still functions for the most part. You could also crack the case and pull out the card and reinstall (perhaps it worked loose). Rotsa ruck.
