I scanned my computer yesterday, and behold, I had 2 adware viruses and 2 trojans. I located them to my ‘temp’ folder, so I deleted EVERYTHING in the folder. I scanned again, forgetting that it was still in the recycle bin, and my anti-virus software told me it was in the recycle bin, so it was definitely those 4 viruses causing me the problems.
I deleted the entirety of the recycle bin, and scanned once again.
Nothing, no problems whatsoever.
I started my computer, and what happens, but a barrage of adverts and random beeping, which I’m sure you’ll know are symptoms of adware/malware and the sort.
I scanned my computer again, and it showed nothing.
Is there anything additional that must be done to stop the problem, and get rid of the virus?
Cheers ahead of time.
I use:
Spybot: Search and Destroy
AVG 8.0
AVG Spyware 7.5

you should not have deleted them that way.. let you antivirus/antispyware do the work for you next time. they will either totally delete them or quarantine them and they will never be heard from or saw again

don’t delete them your self
let your av do that as virus’s are built to come back from you deleting them

trojan in temp ? un-likely trojan like to hide in system restore.
adware viruses ? adware & virus are not the same.
If i was you i would do two free online scans, these scan take time & remove for free what they find:
this scan is good for viruses & trojans:
http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html
this scan is good for viruses & malware:

You don’t say what anti-virus you are using, I’d recommend Avast Home Edition http://avast.com
You also don’t say what you scanned your computer with.
If you haven’t got these I’d recommend these as they will remove the problems - definitely.
SUPERantispyware http://superantispyware.com update and do the full scan.
Spybot Search and Destroy http://safer-networking.org update, immunize and scan.
ccleaner http://ccleaner.com Do both scans with this, ccleaner and registry, but repeat the registry one until nothing is detected.
You will need to switch off System Restore until you know your computer is clean as certain types of infection hide there and reactivate from your restore points. You can switch this back on after the cleaning is complete.
Email me if you need any help.

You failed to mention if you have a (good) security suite.I had the same problems two years ago on both of my machines.I did some research and finally decide to get rid of the Anti Virus I was using at the time, and go to BitDefender (paid version),and it got rid of all the Mal ware,Ad ware plus one virus that was in both of my computers.I am on my second year with BitDefender, and have had no problems since.I have tried most of the popular security suites, and none of them has really done the job.BitDefender works well with most browsers, including Fire Fox 3.0 which is a really secure browser.I use it most of the time instead of 1E Browser.Be sure to get rid of any Anti virus program you may be using before installing another. Now if I could get LAUNCHcast music videos to stop starting and starting I would be happy.By the way LAUNCHcast is not supported by Fire Fox.You can use your IE Browser for that function.Hope this works for you.BitDefender does not have it’s own firewall, but I use IE firewall, and it does the job. Also Fire Fox 3 has a good fire wall.

I suggest you:
- turn off your System Restore
- run Ccleaner to delete all cookies and temp files
- reboot to SAFEMODE with networking
- update each of your anti-malware programs
- rescan with each of your anti-malware programs. You may want to also use a SMITFRAUD fix, in case you have that also. SmitFraudFix.zip which is available for download at:
