i tried downloading something so that i can view videos online and after i tried to download it my computer had a message box pop up saying that my computer is infected with an unknown trojan and to download an anti-spyware program. i downloaded "spyware terminator" online and also "norton antivirus" and after having both of those programs scan my computer they say everything is fine. but i still get the message box popping up telling me my computer is infected. why is it doing that? is my computer still infected and the programs i downloaded crap? i need help…i'm afraid someone out there is stealing my personal info.

Well remove the video viewer thing.
Sometimes the Codecs within programs look lika a virus because of the source code but really arnot.
Trojans are not viruses!

"spy ware terminator" is bad believe me. Download Spy ware doctor with antivirals 5 if it said there wasn't any virus then there isn't but to resolve that error download Desktop Mechanic from pctools.com to resolve the problem. If you belief that there is no virus download Desktop Mechanic and scan and remove with it the errors. I am sure that there are plenty.

the program warning you of "potential infections" and "unknown viruses" are likely malicious software themselves. Typically they do this as ransomware, where they want you to pay to get the remedy, when they are in fact the problem.
Download Spyware Search and destroy from the source link. It will get rid of most of the junk

Hello,
It sounds like you have downloaded a rogue malware program. It will take a specialized program to remove this infection.
Simply uninstalling the program will probably still leave the computer infected.
A couple of months ago, I accidentally downloaded a program from somewhere that infected my computer with malware.
My malware infection was so bad, I thought that I would have to get a new computer.
It wasn't until I found a website in google that gave honest review of spyware and malware removers that I found AdwareAlert.
I downloaded and registered it, and I couldn't be happier. It removed my malware infection, and also a couple spyware infections I didn't even know I had.
It has kept my computer running fast, and spyware free for a couple of months now. I highly recommend it.
The website I found can be visited below.
Hope this was helpful.
