After installing Norton Internet Security 2008, Windows Security Center not showing it, showing removed one?

After installing Norton Internet Security 2008 successfully from CD, the Windows Security Centre still not showing it, instead it is showing the AVG Free Antivirus & Antispyware active which are already uninstalled. Also, Norton is asking frequently to turn off Windows Firewall, and on doing so the Windows Security Centre is showing that no Firewall is active, although the Norton window shows all the components are up to date and active including Firewall, Antivirus, Antispyware etc. Friends, Please help me to fix the problem.
