I had uninstalled Norton from my computer completely, or so I thought. Ever since then, every once in a while an icon shows and I click on it and it asks if I would like to run live update to update / renew my Norton account. I was not a fan of Norton when I had it and got Avast! Antivirus, but for some reason it does not recognize this pop up as a threat. If anyone can help, HOW DO I REMOVE THIS POP UP THAT NORTON KEEPS INVADING MY COMPUTER WITH ASKING IF I WANT TO RUN LIVE UPDATE AFTER I ALREADY UNINSTALLED NORTON?

I think you need to uninstall Live update.

Live Update is a separate program that you still need to uninstall.

This isnt going to help much but its what happened to me last week.
My Norton and symantec security said I had to Uninstall and re-install their software. I used the removal tool and tried to re-install it wouldnt let me. I tried everything I knew. until I made the phone call to my provider. they told me you have to manually remove items from the system. as I had no idea what I was doing they did it for me remotely.
as I watched it being done I have to say I would never have been able to get all the Norton stuff out off there. the guy on the other end of the phone was a genius. so Im guessing you have not removed all the norton stuf from your computer. wish I could be more help but its beyond my capabilities. good luck with yours.
