I have been trying to create a new screenname on AIM for a couple of hours. I started out with real words, but then found an error saying it was already taken. So, as a test, I tried a bunch of random numbers (Z5E0Y235261) a bunch of times. Every time it said it was taken. So I went to their suggestion page and typed in my three words. I selected one of their suggestions and typed in the security code, and then I got an error that said to try again. I did, with the same screen name they gave me, and it said it was taken. I did the suggestion thing again, typed in the SAME THREE WORDS, and pressed enter. I found the suggestion they said was unavailable was STILL THERE. I clicked on it again, and got an error message saying to try again. I did, and every screen name I tried was unavailable, even the ones like “h84yhg3g7″. What is the problem here???

You probably downloaded aim wrong or something is wrong with your computer. that is weird.

Maybe you just downloaded aim wrong like the person above me suggested. Ask a friend to get your sn for you. Sometimes it messes up like that. Two of my friends had to have me get their screen name for them because their aim was messed up and wouldn’t let them get a screen name.
