airport security question, pins?

June 30th, 2008 · 3 Comments

ok, so my purse has a lot of pins on it (like pins for things like genocide, you know, button pins) and I'm wondering if I can get it through security with all it's pins on it, it's got about four or five buttons/pins on it. and two bows w/twist ties, what do you think? I leave tomorrow so quick thorough answers are greatly appreciated, thanks.

They don't really like metal so much, going through the detector, so your best bet is really to put the pins and stuff in your carry on, and avoid any potential hassle.

Your purse will have to go through the x-ray, pins or no pins. So no problem.

I am almost sure that it won't matter because the security will check the purse any way and just gonna let you go.
