All games on my pc are running slow !!! what shud i do?

hi guys
all games which are installed in my pc are running very slow, but it never happend before , is it bcoz of am having my harddisk almost full, means only 4-5 gb out of 160gb is left !!!
shud i clean up more disk space????
These games dont run properly - NFS UG2 , NFS UG1 , NFS MW, GTA SA, GTA VC, GTA 3, and any game which is of high graphics or what so ever
my system config are:
512mb RAM (upgrading it to 1 or 2 gb)
128mb Graphics Card (Nvidia Geforce fx 5200)
2.8 GHz
160 gb harddrive

I DONT KNW WHAT HAS HAPPEND TO MY PC !!!!!!! I CANT PLAY ANY GAME ON MY PC
