AMD Athlon processor driver uninstall and reinstall… help please.?

March 31st, 2009 · 1 Comment

I'm getting an error with my AMD Athlon processor 2650e in the device manager. How do I uninstall and reinstall the driver without harming the computer? I've tried doing system restores but the problem still exists. If i do a simple uninstall will the processor still show in the device manager for an install?

I hate answering this question because it sounds to me like you are barking up the wrong tree.

Anyways, YES you can remove the driver and reboot… it'll want to reinstall the driver on next load.
