I have got the free version of Spyware Doctor from the google pack and want to download the Zone Alarm firewall. However, it says i need the new version of SD. You can download SD from pctools.com, but it cannot remove the infections like the gp sd can. is there a way of allowing the real time intelliguard protection of one version and the removal function of the other without paying for them?? (no cracks wanted - i don't do illegal)
obviously, if you download the version from pctools.com, then it replaces the google pack version. i really like SD, so only recommend a good alternative if you really think it is better than SD. Cheers
p.s. i already have pctools firewall plus installed, but thought zonealarm is better - is this true??

Yes Zonealarm has some good options and very easy to use. I am using zonealarm for the last 7 years. Its a very good personal firewall. Good Luck !!!!

strange, i would uninstall them all and reload them up again.
All you really need is zonealarm firewall, Spybot, AdAware, Also try spywareblaster, it doesnt remove them it stops them from installing on yor pc. Also CCleaner is a must have, google it and youll find the download.
Important note, download these again, unplug yorself from the net and uninstall them, load them back up again and run CCleaner 1st, it gets rid of your junk and is also a good registry cleaner and its free. then load the others up and see if it works this time

unistall them all and install norton 2008 full protection or nod 32
