I've been using SUPERantispyware along with spybot search and destroy and my friend recently made me download Ad-aware 08 saying the other two didnt scan for adware. Will having these three on one system be a problem?

depends on what you use your computer for….all those programs use up computer ram which will slow your computer down a bit, spybot should scan for adware, malware, and others so that other program it not necessary…

Having those 3 will not cause a problem unless you try to run them at the same time. Although personally i don't htink you need the SUPER antispyware program but that is just me.
