I’ve been asking a lot of questions lately about the Antivirus 2008 virus/spyware. This time, it’s gone too far. Everytime I log on to an account, the computer immidiately logs off. Its Windows XP Service Pack 3. I tried logging in on all the user accounts, and each time I log in, it immediately logs out by itself. Why is this happening? How can I fix it?
I booted in safe mode and went under program files, but I don't see a folder named "XP Antivirus"
I think I have the Antivirus thing removed, but it still doesn't let me log in, I have to log in on safe mode, but I can't do it on normal mode.
Also, whenever I scan it with anything, the scanner always closes on me. Why does that keep happening? It happens whenever I scan with any scanner, it jsut closes…

I had this same problem. I tried AVG, kapersky, and other anti-virus programs. None worked.
I ran across this web site, and this forum and this actually worked.
