November 16th, 2008 · 7 Comments

Ok so I have the beastly virus antivirus 2009 and I can’t get rid of it. It just keep coming back. It destroyed AVG so it won’t run and I try downloading www.malwarebytes.org/ but it when I click on setup it doesn’t work….I even tried it in safe mod. I’ve searched my computer for all thing that have antivirus in them and deleted them but its still on my computer. It won’t let me open Search and Destroy or anything else like that. Right now I’m on my sis’s computer because firefox and internet explorer keep crashing.

When I try and go to AVG or malwarebytes website all of a sudden the internet won’t connect. But I can go anywhere else?

This thing is to smart….

How the hell do I get rid of it???????!
mode* (spelling mistake)^^^

Go to this site for details. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/malware-removal/remove-antivirus-xp-2008 You don’t have to do it on the affected computer if it won’t let you. Print off the instructions and download he required software on another computer. Save it to a memory stick and transfer it to the infected one and follow the instructions. Good luck

When you get a virus of this sort you need to remove all the programs that you want with a gig stick. You can buy them at your local WAL-MART or computer dealers. Their prices vary depending on how much their memory can hold. When you get the stick, insert it and get all the most important materials and programs you want and use your system recovery disc to eliminate all existing programs and stuff on the computer. After wards insert the gig stick and put all of the materials back on the computer. If that does not work take it to your local computer shop and they will give you an estimate on how much they will charge.
