K so i just installed kaspersky internet security 09 on my pc . N i downloaded it’s update file (33mb) from a site but don’t know how n where to install them as it doesn’t have a setup file …..it’s a rar file with updates . Can anyone tel me in which folder to put the update rar ?
C'mon man i've quite clearly written it doesn't have a setup file but just update files …..

UnZip the RAR and see if there is a setup inside.

download the winrar programmed and locate the file setup… dont worry it locate itself..

like this guy ^ says ,but if it doesn’t work delete it and go to symantecs website and get some proper stuff norton anti-virus 2009

Look man since you had already install Kaspersky 2009, just update the database using the program itself.

Kaspersky Lab’s products version 2009 cannot be updated from zip archives. In order to update a computer which is not connected to the Internet, it is recommended to use service which copies updates into the folder (this service is embedded into Kaspersky Lab’s products version 2009).
