i have a toshiba laptop on which i got sap installed and running on server 2003 and then i tried to install my internet cd which didnt support server 2003 and at that point i got an error message. and after that day i am not able to download any antivirus on my laptop and when ever i am trying to open the internet explorer page it shut down automatically after 5 secondss. i dont want to format my laptop as it will delete my sap software advise me what to do and berfore that avg was intalled on my laptop but then i got expire.

actully this was happend becoz some nasty virus corrupted your IE and os , so first off all use symantec corporate antivirus and scan your system , but i think this will not help you lot so download combofix.exe and run it , i think it can fix most of the problems and for ie - try to install it again
