I have this Malware virus on my computer and it is called Antivirus pro 2009.Antivirus pro 2009 came out of know were! i did not download it, but while browsing the internet my computer automatically restarted .As soon as my computer rebooted, i got a red X on the bottom right corner of my screen that reads “windows has detected a spyware infection!”knowing it was a virus i then right clicked the red x trying to get rid of it manually, next thing I knew i noticed that it starts to install.
some how this virus has bypassed my microsoft firewall and has disabled my avg Antivirus 8.0 !. Also when i try to search for help on google it redirects me to a page advertising AV pro 2009. Antivirus pro 2009 has also blocked websites that could help with the problem.i am currently using my schools computer to write this message.i have also tried multiple anti-malware and anti-virus software’s to fix the problem.I tried SpyHunter,RegCure,XoftSpySE and Spyware Doctor, but as soon as i try to install or update the programs they either do not work or can not fully install. You guys have discussed how to remove “Antivirus 2009″ but i feel Antivirus pro 2009 is a totally new malware they cooked up.please can you guys help me im desperate!!!!.

Antivirus Pro 2009 is a fake, it pretends to scan your PC but just gives you fake results saying you are infected when you are not just to scare you into buying there software.
SpyHunter,RegCure,XoftSpySE and Spyware Doctor are all either very weak or near enough fake themselves, malwarebytes and superantispyware and the two best free spyware removers avaliable scan with both and computer will be clean.
How to remove Fake Software, Toolbars, Trojans and Viruses:
Download, install, update and scan your computer with both SuperantiSpyware and Malwarebytes, delete what ever they find, if this fails to completely remove the virus/spyware download then update Avast and run a boot scan (click schedule boot-time scan and restart your PC), all the software below is free and safe to use.
SuperantiSpyware: http://www.superantispyware.com/
Malwarebytes: http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php
Avast Anti-Virus: http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html
To protect your PC in the future you need to use anti-virus software and a firewall, id recommend using Avast and Comodo Pro firewall both are very effective and completely free, you should also switch to Firefox 3 if you are browsing with IE as its much safer. (links on my profile)

1. Download any distribution of linux (other than redhat which isn’t free).
2. Burn image to a CD-R or DVD, or multiple CD-R’s, whatever is required.
3. Format computer drive
4. Insert disk before reboot or before boot device is chosen and booted.
5. Reboot.
6. Install linux distribution and use needed documentation.
7. Start your new OS and install WINE if needed and other applications.
8. Any questions, refer to man pages for your distro (man = manual)
9. GOOGLE and RTFM before asking questions.
10. ALWAYS remember if you have a problem, someone else probably had the same problem before you and asked someone on the internet about it.(USE GOOGLE)
11. Enjoy your new, virus free, operating system. On top of that… It was free.
Hope you take my advice even though I’m almost positive you will. But you should consider or try it. Maybe on a separate PC and see if you like it. Just take it into consideration, good idea if you ask me. We all have our own opinions though.
