i downloaded some games from internet to my mobile phone (sony ericsson k610i), after that my phone started to behave abnormally, it will shut down for no apparent reason. i suspected that it is infected by a virus. the problem is, a lot of antivirus software for mobile phones are for other brands but none for sony ericsson. what can i do now? your help will be greatly appreciated.
Well, maybe sony ericsson is not a symbian phone, but it still needs programs to run and therefore, someboy will sure find a way to make viruses that target this brand.

well, since its not a symbian phone so there are no viruses or anti-viruses for it. i searched like 10 sites and none of them had anything. I recomend going to the att store or whatever carrier it is and getting it fixed there.

You are mistaken. Your phone is not infected. The only kind of programs that can be installed on your phone are Java (J2ME) applets. The Java security model makes it impractical to create both viruses and anti-virus programs for your phone. I am not saying "impossible" but running such a program (of either kind) would result in zillions of warnings and prompts. A virus would have no chance of spreading and an anti-virus would be unusable and would just annoy the user. For a similar reason, you won't find a file manager for your phone.
The symptoms you describe suggest some kind of hardware failure - not a virus. Take the phone to a repair shop.
