I know this question has been asked a lot, but I need up to date answers.
I am wondering what is the best way to remove norton and also what I can replace it with. I have heard over and over again that there are some good free antivirus programs out there. How are these different than norton that cost $$$?
My computer runs painfully slow, and I am told this is because of norton. This is the main reason I am looking into it.
I am slightly computer retarded, so the more simple the answers, the better.
Thank you for helping.
J.

Norton takes up alot of memory and resources on your PC. I would replace Norton with Avast or Nod32. I would also get a good anti spyware program like spybot search and destroy or superantispyware.
