Any software to remove leftover files after an uninstall is performed?

October 27th, 2009 · 1 Comment

Many times I see left over junk files from olf software that I’ve already uninstalled. I know there is software to remove presently installed programs, but I can’t find any that will remove stuff after an uninstall. Maybe something like a junk file remover i guess..
will cc cleaner remove important files?
before my xp clean install i used cc cleaner, i think it messed up stuff especially with the registry.

The best way is to uninstall the software using an UNINSTALLER program, in this way you can remove all the leftover or debris left by the uninstallation process. An excellent free option is
      REVOUNINSTALLER http://www.revouninstaller.com/

For what you already have left on your system, there is a program that will help you cleanup your disk and registry is
      CCLEANER http://www.ccleaner.com/ (also free)

      Hope this help
