Any way to get Avast Anti-Virus to ignore something?

Hi,
One of my games recently had an update, and since then, my version of Avast Antivirus has been blocking the launcher. It is a .exe file, and Avast thought that it was a Trojan. I really want to play this game again, but I don’t know my way around Avast. Is there a way to get it to let the .exe execute itself?
