when i right click an object and press scan using avg free. and it will start scanning. a popup text will appear from the taskbar saying ‘ shell extension scan started ‘. i like that so far. but suddenly, the avg user interface pop-up.
is there an option so the user interface won’t pop-up when using right-click menu but just scan in the background?

Mine (Zonealarm) pops up with a results window. The scan on a single object shouldn’t take but a few seconds. Check what it’s saying in the window.
