Women please: Are there women out there who use men for security? You know, he has a house, money, is tough and can look after me? Is this a relationship of conveneance?
Men please: Would you find it acceptable if a women was using you for the above?
Men and Women: Do you think love could grow from such a relationship of convenience?

there are definitely women out there who are with someone for security…absolutely. and there are men out there who are with women for security. but there are also plenty of honest people who are out there for love. i will never be with someone because it is conveniant- not only is it wrong but i would hate my life. but some people dont care about being with the person they love–they would rather make sure they are wealthy and have children that grow up to be successful. and i dont think that an honest relationship can grow from a conveniant partnership-i think once that view is there…it doesnt go away. i do believe that you can grow to truly care about a person that youve been with for so long…but if the love and passion wasnt there from the start–you cant force yourself to feel that way later on. if you are with someone who you feel is using you for security..i say move on and find someone who loves you for you–not your job, house or muscles.

There are lots of females who use a man for security, some blokes use women too. Personally I like to take care of myself by my own means. Can love grow from such a relationship? I guess it’s not beyond the realms of possibility but it depends on how shallow the woman is. If she’s callous and not at all interested in you but just wants to reap the benefit’s then its unlikely that she would fall in love because she’s looking at the man as a meal-ticket and nothing more.
