my computer has a Pentium 4 processor, (2.40 Ghz) 1.25 gb of RAM. i have two hard drives, split into 3 partitions. i run windows xp. i built it myself a while back, and it has been upgraded a few times.
recently, however, it has been running RIDICULOUSLY slow. i mean, so slow that i can’t even use facebook chat anymore, and iTunes bogs down everything to the point where i can’t really do anything else. it’s not my internet, and i see no signs of spyware, i’ve done no recent upgrades, i really have no clue as to what the problem might be.
any ideas?

What kind of antivirus software do you have?
I suggest McAfee, It has loads of very useful tools.
Such as to clean your computer.
Or try Disk De fragmenting?
Or you could have worms.
