ATTENTION windows vista savvy people?

July 9th, 2008 · 1 Comment

i use an IBM thinkpad t60. i use windows vista business. thinkpad has its own thing for internet access connections. vista has the 2 computers that are very useful when finding new networks however mine have seemed to malfunction. the internet still hops from network to network but if i click the 2 computers to search it just takes about a minute to come up. but there is always a red X and it says Connection Status: unknown; server execution failed when i hover it. there is supposed to be a little globe there when it is connected. i want this fixed.. PLEASE HELP THANKS.

Go ahead in the services….Start>Run>Type in the box services.msc>In the services management window scroll down and look for Wireless Zero configuration >Right click on the service and go to properties > Check if the service is started the stop and restart it again >the service startup type must be Automatic.
