May 22nd, 2009 · 1 Comment

There are 2 error boxes
First Box title is setup.exe - Bad Image and it says
autorun.dll is either not designed to run on . Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.
When I close the first box the second box appears and its title is Install windows and it says
The file 'autorun.dll' could no be loaded or is corrupt. Setup cannot continue. Error code is [0xC1]

It seems you download a bad image of Windows 7, or something went wrong when you burned it to a disk.

Download another image here - http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/download.aspx

Make sure you follow the instructions for the installation here - http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/installation-instructions.aspx
