autorun.exe application error. pleaseee help!..?

i'm trying to install the sims castaway stories,
but every time i put the disc in, an error comes up:

"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005).
Click on OK to terminate the application."

what does this mean, and how can i make it go awayyy?

      It is posible that this is caused by malware (like a virus). But if you have good security software then it probably isn't.

      You can contact the writers of the software and tell them about the problem. Make sure you tell them exactly what Windows you are using.
