Avast or AVG free? (Read Detail)?

Well, I want to know what’s the best. I personally like AVG but use Avast because It has root-kit and found virus’ AVG but I hear talk about what avast find’s that other scanner’s don’t aren’t virus’ just mistakes. But I want to know from more people. AVG or Avast?

      Avast, definitely.

      And those are False Positives, and are accidents. You can’t even put Avast and AVG on the same level.

      I haven’t used Avast, but I do use AVG and know many people who highly recomend it and the new AVG 8.0 version is great.

      Ive haven’t tried AVG im pretty happy with avast altough it does miss some malware sometimes

      I like AVG’s interface, but it’s full scan takes hours. Avast looks like an mp3 burning add-on of some sort.
      Why don’t we add Avira in the mix, since we’re on to the “A” category of free anti-virus.

      This question needs more cowbell…
