AVG 7.5 uninstall problem?

I'm trying to unistall AVG 7.5 and I keep getting an error that reads "Local machine: installation failed
Initialization:
Error: Checking of state of the item file avgcc.exe failed.
File opening failed. %FILE% = "C:\Program Files\Grisoft\AVG7\avgcc.exe"
Permission denied"

and it's really annoying….. I'm trying to install another Security program into my computer, and in order for me to do so I need to have this AVG removed. I tried reinstalling the AVG but it still gives me the same error. Any help or reccomendations would be great.
I tried download.com….it didn't work…i still got this error

      you uninstall from your save mode or download uninstall software from http://download.com/
