It sound as though you may have a corrupt file in your downloaded AVG. I suggest you delete the whole thing and try downloading it again. That should solve it.

You have a corrupt initialization error perhaps caused by a previous security program. About the only way to fix this is to clean them out of the registry and this should only be done if you have the knowledge because if you delete the wrong thing it will cause major problems. You may need to take your PC to a repair shop.
