AVG have 2 versions one is paid n one is completely free
but free version don’t have some features enabled
still i find its good..since its free and accurate in to some extent.

i don’t know about AVG but Avast anti-virus has worked well for me the only drawback is that you can’t leave while it scans, because if it finds an infection you have to tell it what option to use. Once it finds something though you can choose to wait til the scan is through before applying any actions, then you can go do something else while the scan finishes. After your first scan this is not much of a problem because Avast active protection will stop 99.99% of all virus.The virus data base is updated daily. For a free anti-virus it is awesome.
