AVG Antivirus help?

April 3rd, 2008 · 1 Comment

Ok, so I have this online game installed on my computer and today, when I started it, AVG pops up saying that the file is infected, blah, blah, blah. I can't heal the said program, so I just choose Ignore, but it still won't me play the game. I am 100% sure that the game isn't virus-infected whatsoever. Moving it into the Virus Vault doesn't help me either since doing so won't let me play. My question is: is there a way I could make AVG not to stop me from playing this game? I don't wanna have AVG turned off though; I just want it to allow me to play the game. P.S. I'm not very good when it comes to technical stuff like these.

It could be a false-positive. I would upload the suspect file to Jotti's for a second opinion from about 20 different anti-malware products.
