avg error (you may not be protected)

i have an avg 8.0 and it says you may not be protected! some components report an error and says follow these steps when i follow and i make the update it fails an says update failed the connection with the update server has failed can you please help me i don know what to do and i am really scared

This means you have to update the virus signature database, but if you can’t do so, you may have internet/server problems.Why don’t you try ESET Smart Security 3.0.6?It works MUCH better than AVG!
