I've just scanned my laptop for spyware and viruses after I had a blue wallpaper on my desktop that says "Warning, spyware has been detected on your computer". It doesn't allow me to change the desktop and when i leave it on it restarts by itself and takes me to another blue screen. I've found a lot of cookies and 2 harmful spyware viruses after the scanning was done. and when i try deleting it it won't work, i clicked remove selected infection and remove inhealed infection and it still won't work. The two Spyware was moved to the Virus Vault and I just press delete, is that the right thing to do ? I still can't change the wallpaper?

Moving it to the vault is OK. That means that NOTHING, not even the OS can touch the virus except the Antivirus (in this case AVG.) It does that because it doesnt know how to remove it yet. Either way it is safe. If its still giving you problems, I reccommend trying Avast antivirus.
