Resident Shield in AVG found a virus and I checked on the box that says "Delete found threats as Power User" or something similar. I cant remember the exact words. Anyways, I checked the box and then clicked on "Move to Vault". After that I immediately checked the virus vault and it's empty!? I then clicked on the "Resident Shield Detection" under History and it shows the name of the virus found and the location.
My question is: Has the virus been removed from my PC or does Resident Shield store it in the Resident Shield Dectetion list? More precisely, is that just a list that keeps record of virus found or is that actually where Resident Shield stores the virus found after u clicked on "Move to Vault" ?

The free AVG is crap.
I have a video on my profile here, the first one, that shows my Avast 4.8 free catching a trojan that it missed.
Avast has way better tools to actually clean out viruses.

AVG will remove the viruses in "SAFE MODE" only
Restart the system press F8, and go in Safe Mode and then run the scan, to complete the virus deletion.
Or better download AVAST 4.8 Home as the person above suggested..
