i ve had avg free 8 installed on my comp for a few months and the last couple of days my internet browser randomly closes and says that an avg add on was running, so i tried to open the avg and run a check but it wouldnt opn so then i was gonna try uninstalling and reinstalling it but when i tried to uninstall it i get a message saying "installation failed" 1 error ocurred click details to show more information, then this is what it says
Installer initialization failed due to the following error:
Error: Initialization of the setup data file failed.
Opening of the setup data file "C" failed.
Error 0xe001042c
i cant uninstall it and when i tried to install it again from the site i just keep getting the same again!!
How do i fix this? Thank you for your help
