Alright I have AVG Internet Security 8 installed on a laptop with vista home premium. I have windows firewall disabled and the avg firewall running. I am positive I have no other firewall running except AVG. The problem is I cannot update my AVG software, but when i turn on windows firewall, either alone or alongside AVG, I can easily update… One thing I have noticed is that when i manually go on the AVG update site and I have only AVG firwall running, it would say address not found. But when I have windows firewall on, I can download updates through AVG or manually from the update site… If anyone knows a solution, please help and thank-you in advance.
