i have free avg 8.0 for my laptop and it got rid of a virus i had a couple weeks ago. yesterday i turned my laptop on and it was running slowly and there was a whole bunch of pop ups and security notices saying my coputer was infected with spyware. i have spybot search and destroy so i ran it and "fixed" the problem but nothing changed after. so i clicked my avg but it says that the anti spyware and virus database is outdated. i clicked updat but it always says update failed. so then i tried to reinstall it from grisoft.com but evertime i try to access the grisoft page my computer says this page cannot be displayed even though any other wesite i search for has no problem coming up.
im so fustrated and confused…what do i do please help?

It says the blog can not be found……………………….I have no idea if this is your case or not, but there was a time when I had the same problem you are having. The "free" programs are not as good as the "real" ones. The virus embeds itself so far deep in the registry that the programs can not remove it all. I ended up reformatting my HD and starting over. Worked great!!
