i want to know your opinion about which will give more protection kaspersky antivirus 2009 or avira
well i have bunch of anti-spywares program so spyware isn’t a problem for me but
Avira free or kaspersky anti-virus 2009 is my only choice
i am now using avira free with super antispyware free ,a-squared free,malware bytes anti-malware free and outpost firewall pro 2009
and another question does kaspersky anti-virus 2009 use less system resources than kaspersky internet security 2009

I’m currently using Kaspersky and believe me it offers rock-solid defense.
It also runs smoothly even during virus-scans,using just about 30-40 MB RAM.

1. The paid version of Avira is on par with the paid version of kaspersky.
2. yes, because kaspersky anti-virus is just an antivirus while the kaspersky internet security 2009 is a combination of different security and protection tools. (anti virus,antispyware,firewall maybe)

Don’t know, I just use AVG and malwarebytes and spybot, never have any problems with them.

well, i have been used avira anti virus free edition, mm, it protects my computer against virus but certainly not spyware! about the kapersky, my family uses it and it is so powerful so that it affects the internet connection in order to prevent virus..but many of my friends said that kapersky is a powerful anti virus software, i have noticed it too when my family opened the computer but i prefer the free edition and avira is certainly the best, at least for now!

Avira is got the best detection rate so far this year. It has been in 1 place since the begining and is still there. Kaspersky beats Avira at firewall and spyware detection. So far. Over all I would say Kaspersky. If you ad Spywaredoctor or Spysweeper to free version of Avira,plus a decent firewall (kaspersky is good, but not the best,Comodo is free and better than Kaspersky,s firewall- I personally use Outpost) beats down any other protection. Kaspersky had some ridicoulous detection rate this year,.I love Kaspersky but I trust Avira on virus detection.

Kapersky beats avira in spyware and firewall.Buy kaspersky it,s better than avira.I use it personaly in my laptop.avira is also a good antivirus but I prefer kaspersky

well to be honest i have used almost every possible antivirus(total security,360,watever)and wat i think is that you should go in for the gdata, kaspersky or quickheel toal security these have evrything a pc needs to keep itself in good chape so go for the registered (liscensed versions and if money is the problem than kaspersky internet security is the best buy

I guss Kaspersky is the best antivirus , I don’t know but it so strong , Avira is a Free software and it good too , both of them are good but I love kaspersky better , Like CLOTHES , whos like to wear a green and who like to wear a white , you can try them both and chooice which one make you feel faster , save , and protced and tell you this both of them are the best antivirus in the world my friend . c ya later
