Avira PREMIUM 9 or Mcafee virusscan plus 8.5i?

Hi i have avira premium 9 right now with pc tools firewall but i was thinking of switching to mcafee/pc tools firewall/threatifre. This gives me a antispyware combo , firewall, antivirus. Is this effective??? WIll i be well protected or should i stick with avira. Last night i did a scan with avira but it did not find a single problem.. i dont believe that.
