I had antivirus xp2008 and I manually had to remove it, so, I booted my computer in 'debugger' mode (hp pavillion a1483w) which is basically 'safe mode' only it allows the user to do a bit more.
And ever since then, when I logged into my comp. it has a blue background with the words (on yellow background)

Any tips?
Just a little f.y.i. I tried just changing it right click properties but the only 3 tabs I get are themes appearance and settings.

i don’t now how to get rid of the back ground but you can change the background on the computer.go to run and type : regedit , then registry editor should come up. after clik on
hkey kurrent users -software -microsoft -windows -polocies then click on system. you should the see
NoDispScrSavPage and NoDispBackgroundPage then you have to change the value to 0. the dispaly tabs should the re appear.
