Before I uninstall Norton 2003 using the Symantec tool should i first Go to START -> RUN and type in msconfig push OK
Then go to the Services Tab, click on Hide Microsoft Stuff, then turn off everything from Symantec Corp, or Norton
Then hit APPLY and RESTART. or should i just leave norton and just run the removal tool to get rid of Norton? which way is better?

I just installed the new version i got and that was that. if you need to get rid of any old versions, just uninstall/remove them.

i recon just use the tool, it looks much simpler

go to add or remove programs and get rid of it and get Norton 2008
